What most people don't realize

about menstrual health

Menstrual health issues affect a lot more menstruators than most of us would think. 80-85% experience period pain (dysmenorrhea) at some stage in their lifetime. 25% have irregular menstrual cycles (metrorrhagia). Another 25% experience heavy bleeding (menorrhagia) during their period. While only 3-8% have a PMDD diagnosis, a whopping 90% of menstruators experience at least mild PMS symptoms before each bleed. The numbers are shockingly high.

Conventional treatments for menstrual issues only suppress your symptoms; they don't heal them. Contraceptive pills, painkillers, and antidepressants only work while you're taking them. The moment you stop, your symptoms start to creep back in. Meanwhile, these medications come with side effects, ranging from mild to life-threatening. They can often do more harm than good, potentially leading to further health issues, including long-term hormonal imbalances that can cause result in severe symptoms during (peri)menopause.

Hormonal problems run in my family. I suffered from debilitating menstrual cramps and pre-menstrual anxiety for two whole decades. Most clients see results within a few weeks of working with me. But to understand your internal patterns and create deep, lasting changes, we will need to work together for a few menstrual cycles. 16 weeks gives us enough time for 3 transformative 1:1 sessions and enough room for implementation and for your symptoms to ease.

Your symptoms took time to develop - maybe years or even decades. It will take some time (although much less!) to resolve them.

We will also have a deeper dive into your diet and discuss your food diary. Finally, we will arrive at your second prescription.
